RapidStart CRM – Business Central Table Relations

To associate Virtual Tables to Native Tables, you create Table Relations. While we have created a UI for this, it is still considered an “Advanced Task”. Refer to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/powerplatform/powerplat-entity-modeling.  Our default installation includes five table relation records to support our Apps goals as delivered.

To Create a new table relationship, refer to the above-linked documentation from Microsoft. Select Table Relations in the Sidebar.

Click “+ New”

The above is an existing record to show the required data. Give the relation a name that will make sense to find later, add the table schema name for the RapidStart or your Custom table, add the table key (refer to MS docs), and the Business Central table schema. Then click on the Mappings tab.

Map the fields with their respective schema names.
